I would first like to thank all the fantastic nurses who provided care to me while I was receiving treatment for breast cancer. They all made me feel at ease, communicated with me on any changes, and made sure I was comfortable. Tim was terrific because he knew how to provide just enough nursing care and comfort. I am an introvert and a registered nurse as well, and he did not treat me any differently. There were times when he read my nonverbal cues and gave me a blanket, ensured I was warm and comfortable. He also assured my husband was well cared for and engaged with us. Even during days where it was apparent, he had a heavy load, I never felt abandoned or left wondering where my nurse was. This department of nurses worked cohesively as a team checking on each other's patients, responding to bells from pumps, etc., which in turn allowed us, the patients, the support of being in a calming environment. My husband and I are very grateful for the extraordinary care.
