Tim assisted my grandfather and provided exceptional service with a smile. He was willing to assist, help and answer questions at any time. He communicated openly with vital sign readings, medication, and signs of concern. He was able to keep family members calm while attending to the business of caring for my grandfather. Thanks.

Nurses have always been known as "Angels of Mercy". Now I know why! In my recent visit to Hamilton Medical Center MICU, I became acquainted with a young man, Tim. He was "called" to be a compassionate caregiver. It was not just a job to him. I was very ill and he made me feel very safe and cared for. I spent three days in the most stress filled conditions. I have never been as scared or miserable and he made the situation bearable. When I asked a question, he encouraged me and even when he left for the day, he stopped by to tell me he was leaving but he'd be back at 7 the next day. He inspired such confidence that I was able to make it through the night.

Tim is by far the best nurse that we have had the pleasure of caring for our family member. Tim watched over him diligently and he was never above seeing to our needs or answering any of our questions. His patience is certainly commendable, given how often we would ask him questions. Tim was soothingly warm, caring, positive, and most importantly, knowledgeable. Despite the seriousness of the situation, he was able to provide a positive outlook during each visit. Every family member agrees that he made us feel the most at ease during our dark time at Hamilton. No matter the request, concern, or conversation, he was always there to help. We all believe that the world needs more nurses like Tim and it is for this reason that I nominate him for the DAISY Award.
