Since our son was admitted to the NICU at Inova Children's Hospital in April. We have been widely impressed with the quality of care for our son. Additionally, we appreciate how your staff cooperate and support each other. Teamwork "works" at Inova Children's Hospital!
We would like to highlight one nurse: Timetra
Timetra's care stood out to us because of her attention to detail, quality of care, and her personal touch.
It was clear from first meeting Timetra that she focused her care on not just our son as the patient but him as a person as well as the whole family unit. Additionally, Timetra took the time to make sure his plan of care was fully understood and clarified the information when needed.
Her personality and bedside manner made us feel welcome and at ease.
Her swaddle is the best and she gave our son a cute nickname that we wrote a song about and have continued to use with him (Little Gruntasaurous).
We spent over 2 months at the NICU and although it is a stressful environment, we appreciated Timetra because she alleviated a good deal of stress.
