The nurse leaders round on patients daily. Timon is often recognized by the patients as making them feel as though they’re the only patient on the floor. The patients comment about how gentle, kind, and how he explains their care to them. During patient rounding, multiple patients stated how safe they felt with Timon and that he was always checking to make sure they were ok.

The patient stated, “I felt so safe and cared for with Timon, he was like my guardian angel. I was in a lot of pain and he not only made sure that I had my medication, but he explained why I should take it and not let the pain get so bad the medicine wouldn’t work. He explained everything to me during his care before he did anything.”

The Nursing Supervisor on the night shift is happy to see Timon on the schedule. One of the supervisors stated, “I have worked with Timon for 14 years. I really count on his leadership and being a resource to help if there’s a major event in the hospital on the night shift. He is always so kind and professional. I appreciate him assisting not just on his home unit but throughout the hospital when I need help.”

Timon is always willing to help out his team when the unit is short whether it’s prescheduled overtime or last-minute call out. Timon’s co-workers all compliment him on his strong clinical skills, advocacy, and always being a team player.

A co-worker stated, “I love working with Timon. He’s not only an awesome nurse but a great resource and team player.”

Another team member stated, “I am a newer nurse and he always seems to know when I need help. I really appreciate him for always helping with my patients whether it's a difficult situation or teaching me new skills.”
