There was a very sick patient who was very concerned about his dog that he left at home. The patient didn't have anyone that he could call to go check on his dog. The doctor taking care of the patient worked with the house supervisor, charge nurse, and patient's nurse to try and figure out how they could get this man's dog checked on. They tried law enforcement and animal shelters but neither of these organizations could help. The staff reached out to Tim who was not working that day, he gladly went and checked on the dog, the door was unlocked, and he was able to take the dog home with him. He then kept the dog for several days, fed it, and loved on it. The patient was relieved and so grateful, no doubt this patient was able to relax and concentrate on his own healing while he was in the hospital knowing that his best friend was being taken care of. Tim did this all without any hesitation.
