Tim found the problem by recognizing the symptoms that my dad was having were symptoms of withdrawal from not taking his medication.
Tim very much surpassed his call of duty. When my father was brought into the hospital, the first diagnosis was a stroke. The next day we were told it was not a stroke, but that he has severe dementia. We received many calls from the nurse's station on his floor from other nurses, and a family member was at the hospital at all times communicating with my father‘s doctors. They were all telling us he had symptoms of severe dementia and what to expect. We had several calls about putting him in nursing homes. We all prepared for the worst. Then we met Tim! With Tim’s help, because we as a family knew something wasn’t right, it was discovered that my dad had been in the hospital with none of his medication from home being taken in the last four days. We were told his medication list got lost and the meds were never put into the computer.

Tim found the problem by recognizing the symptoms that my dad was having were symptoms of withdrawal from not taking his medication. He then realized dad had no medications listed. After days of not taking his medication, Tim immediately got my dad‘s med list corrected. Our dad is now back to himself and we now know his quality of life will not be interrupted as we were told. We will forever be grateful for Tim and his medical knowledge and how he cares about his patients.
