Timothy Graves, RN

Timothy Graves was nominated for the DAISY Award by a family member for the “positive and professional” care he provided to two separate patients. The nominator recognized that he took time to address both the patients’ and his anxiety during the stay, ensuring they were addressed and lessened. His bedside manner was very caring and helped the family through a difficult time. His care of the patient’s physical wounds was excellent. He took his time to make sure that she was comfortable and knew exactly what he was doing and why it needed to be done. The treatment given to the family by Timothy was remembered and helped in the healing process. He showed the same care and concern with the second family member. The nominator felt that the patients were in good hands and had confidence that they would be well taken care of during his shift. He was a bright spot for this family in dealing with the serious medical concerns of their family members.
