This is our second time on the Tele Onc floor in the last few weeks. Timothy Hodge remembered dad and was caring and on top of it. During dad’s first stay, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. I truly believe the knowledge he shared with me to understand when something going on isn’t “right” that helped me to see a situation when I’d returned home with dad and get him back to the hospital on time before something worse could have happened.
He helped me learn bolus feeding and get over my fear of administering my dad’s meds into the tube. He is an incredible nurse. He made my dad feel seen and heard, and during a time of confusion, he treated my dad gently and with dignity. Dad loves Tim. When I told him how much he had helped me not to second guess my concerns, he was so humble and kind. He loves nursing and puts dad and me at ease. His level of care is unreal, and I was happy to see he’s got dad again. I pray to get dad home ASAP, but I am resting easy knowing Tim is his lead nurse.
