After an anxious, unsafe feeling interaction, TJ had taken over for my previous nurse, and from the start, he was so extremely nice. His tone and body language made me feel like he was real and not just getting paid. I've suffered with chronic pain my entire life, and after so many awful experiences, it's hard to trust, and I require support. TJ understood this just by the way he responded to me and my partner, and by the time I was ready for the IV, my previous panic had eased entirely. I would also like to add there was no pain at all when administering the IV which should be praised, everything was explained as he went along. When administering the migraine meds, I did not feel the extreme stomach upset I usually do, as he took his time and did not rush once. I cannot say how much of a relief it was to have the care I did last night, and TJ deserves to be recognized for choosing the career he is meant for. Without him, I wouldn't have had the courage to call the doctors this morning.
