Timothy Allen cared for my 91-year-old mother, who has Alzheimer's, with great care while she was hospitalized. He treated her with the utmost respect and kindness. Even though she has Alzheimer's, he dignified her. When she first entered the hospital, she was really low because of not sleeping for 4 days. Mom has multiple medical problems, which include CHF, problems with her lungs because of the fluid buildup, and degenerative joint disease in multiple areas of her body, which makes it hard for people to move her. When she entered the hospital, she was not talking or interacting with anyone. The first 12 hours, she did nothing but sleep and moan because of the pain. Timothy checked on her like my mom was his mom. He carefully gave her meds through the IV so as not to break her sleep. When she started to feel a little better and was able to express her desires, Timothy catered to her needs. He did not give her false expectations, always letting her know when there would be a delay, such as when he had to wait for the doctor's approval before providing what she requested. My mother and my other family members were very happy to have him on our team. He kept us posted as to what tests were needed and when they would be performed, which allowed us to share this information with Mom so she wouldn't be nervous or upset. Timothy always wore a smile even after a long shift day after day. Our family is impressed by his professionalism, kindness, genuine concern, and loving consideration. Thank you, Timothy!
