Miss Adair exhibited so much patience and compassion.
Miss Adair was tending to my son who was being prepped for his 4th high dose Methotrexate treatment. While doing so I noticed how thorough she was in carrying out her duties. She explained what she was doing to do prior to actually taking action. She asked my son for permission to do certain things. She labeled all of (the) bags of fluids he was to receive. While servicing my son, she was also servicing another patient across from where we were seated. This patient was younger than my son. It was important to that patient that a patch be removed slowly so it would not hurt. Miss Adair exhibited so much patience and compassion. It made me smile to see this. That patient told her she did an excellent job and had earned herself an "A". I mentioned to her that I noticed how thorough she was in doing her job. She shared a bit of her background with us. This allowed us to feel connected to her, to feel a greater sense of "being in good hands" should we ever receive care from her in the future. Miss Adair is definitely an asset.
