Tina showed integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence throughout our 12-hour stay.
My niece’s water broke, and she and her lovely husband began all important phone calls to parents, me, and other family. This call came in at 2 am. This call excited us all and woke us up completely. I thought we would never get to the hospital fast enough. Fortunately, we made it in plenty of time. No contractions had started yet, even though her water had broken. We arrived very early in the morning, and the energy was high with anticipation for our baby boy. Our boy did not have a name yet. This was the first insight into how awesome our nurse, Tina Bailey, is. She gave him a special name of her choosing for delivery purposes, and we loved her sense of humor.
All joking aside, Ms. Tina cleared the room and spoke privately with my niece and her husband. She took charge of the room and made sure of the wishes and desires of mom and dad, and approved people were allowed back in the room for this miracle delivery. Tina showed integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence throughout our 12-hour stay. We were excited, worried, exhausted, and silly. Tina remained the anchor to our ship. We all had a job. She kept us on task. Most of all, Tina was 100% attentive to our mommy-to-be. Tina stayed with us the whole time. Nurse Tina made the delivery an experience we will never forget! Thank you, Nurse Tina. We love you, and we can’t thank you enough.
