During my preparation for surgery, I met several young ladies who were serious about their craft, and I could tell my procedure was not their first rodeo. Especially, when I was asked why I was there, and I said for liposuction, which didn't go over very well with everyone, but the ones who didn't appreciate my attempt at levity had no idea I was scared to death!

However, it was Tina's approach to my preparation that was perfect! She respected my privacy, was diligent, followed what appeared to be the right steps for internal surgery, and was cool as a cucumber. She shared short stories that I related to, and I began to feel calm and more relaxed. Tina's persona made me feel like I was a valuable patient, and not just another number.

I've had several surgeries as a young man, but my cholecystectomy was the first of its kind and my first as an older man, and because of the latter, I had some serious concerns. Henceforth, I'd be remiss if I didn't also tell you and others that Tina's professionalism and her love for her family were absolutely awesome! When I left the pre-op area for the operating room, I trusted the will of God, the impressive preparation and care of Tina, and her subtle way of calming my fears.
