I wish to tell you how valuable an employee Summit Pacific Medical Center has in ER Nurse Tina. I was sent to SP ER by my PCP. I was in a high state of anxiety as I had no idea, I might have an immediate life-threatening condition. Obviously, I was very tense and nervous until further tests could be completed and evaluated. Tina escorted us (my spouse) into an ER examination room. She was very calm, friendly, and personable. I can only assume she has seen many patients in high-stress situations. Her calm demeanor, ability to listen and thoroughly answer all questions was very calming for me. She explained each step of what would be done and an estimated time frame. Very accurate on the time frame. While it was near the completion of her shift. I was not rushed in any manner. Her skill level in drawing blood was superb. I have a strong phobia of needles. Again, a mountain of patience and skills. After all was done, I received clearance from the doctor and we went home. It is my thought and feeling that you have an outstanding Nurse in Tina, and it is my hope that she stays with Summit Pacific for many years to come. I would feel most comfortable under her care and responsibilities if the need should arise again for a visit to the Summit Pacific Emergency Room.
