Tionte' Gulley embodied the mission of UF Health. She helped heal through attentive and skilled clinical care, comforting us by creating a safe and reassuring space for our family and by her thoughtful communication and guidance. She helped educate and provided informed care by ensuring we understood the day-to-day plan.

Throughout a difficult period for me personally as I was navigating a challenging aftermath of a previous hospital experience, Tionte' did more than just attend to clinical tasks. She showed profound compassion, she listened and understood to create an environment with a sense of trust. She helped be sure that while her patient was her first priority, she also made sure the family was seen and had their needs attended to. That level of care reflects the high level of excellence UF Health seeks to provide to every member of their community.

I witnessed Tionte' act with deep respect for my father's dignity and my emotional journey. She treated us exactly as patients and families hope to be treated, with warmth, patience, and integrity. By doing so, she exercised great stewardship of the privilege of being entrusted with the care of a patient and his loved one. In short, Tionte's performance exemplifies the highest ideals of UF Health Jax-North. She made a real difference during a stressful time with outstanding care and commitment.
