Miss Tipayaporn is an amazing registered nurse. She has always been compassionate about her work and caring for all the patients regardless of their background.

For this particular event, the patient and her husband have been married for 15 long years. They had difficulties with multiple pregnancies in the past, which all unfortunately resulted in miscarriages. Both the father and the mother wanted to welcome another life into their families so much. They came to our BNH Hospital for a consultation on prenatal care. The mother later became pregnant and received antepartum care with us throughout her pregnancy. For the first time in the mother's life, she was able to reach her 29th week pregnancy. Everyone in her family was in tears from both the joy of expectation and the fear of losing another baby. When the patient was admitted, nurse Tipayaporn was so determined to talk with the patient, to give them hope and support, and to ensure the patient and family that she and her team will do everything in their power to help them protect the most precious present in their lives.

The patient said that every time nurse Tipayaporn walked in, it was as if an angel came down with a smile bringing courage and faith to her and the entire family. Along with the team, they were able to help the patient reach 32nd week pregnancy. One day, nurse Tipayaporn was reaching the end of her shift and ready to go home, the patient's water broke and had to be rushed into the operating room for a cesarean section. The patient and family begged for nurse Tipayaporn to stay. Though she was exhausted from a long shift, nurse Tipayaporn decided to stay with the patient and family to comfort them until the end of the surgery. The healthy newborn was delivered and surrounded by loving and enthusiastic new mom and family.

The entire family, especially the patient, showed gratitude and appreciation to nurse Tipayaporn for how much she has done and been there for them through thick and thin. When asked about the case, nurse Tipayaporn proudly said "It was one of the happiest days in my life being able to help the family cherish and welcome a new family member. I was so happy for the family. Their happiness is what makes me smile and gives me strength to help other patients."

One of the statements the patient wrote to nurse Tipayaporn that captivated everyone was "Every time we come back, we always tell our family about her. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for the impressive care that you gave, the eye of consideration, and your softly-nurse-skill movement you did. You really are ideal nurse who we, as patients, long for."

For all she has done, nurse Tipayaporn has captured the DAISY Award committee and everyone's heart and became the very first DAISY Nurse of BNH Hospital.
