I come in for dialysis three times a week-Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday-and every time, Nurse Tisha greets me with a warm smile, a gentle spirit, and a heart full of kindness. Each time I see Nurse Tisha, I'm reminded that there are still people in this world who lead with compassion, kindness, and genuine care.

From the very beginning, she has made me feel like more than just a patient. She treats me like a person. She takes the time to explain things in ways I can understand, and she always makes sure I feel comfortable asking questions. Nurse Tisha also went out of her way to educate me about how to take better care of myself. She has taken the time to talk with me about nutrition, what to eat, what to avoid, and how to make better choices to support kidney health. Her explanations are always clear and easy to understand, and she answers every question I have with patience and compassion.

She has also opened my eyes to new possibilities by sharing valuable information regarding the Kidney Transplant Institute. That's something I never thought I'd learn about, and with her guidance, I feel more informed and empowered to make decisions about my health and my future. I feel more hopeful and informed about what lies ahead.
