I had my first procedure under general anesthesia yesterday, and had so much anxiety leading up to my surgery date. I knew the moment that I met Ty that I was in good hands. I stopped worrying and started smiling–Ty’s knowledge, care, and attentiveness helped my anxiety literally wash away.

When they wheeled me into the OR, I don’t remember much. I woke up more alert than I expected and had zero nausea and pain. I was so sad I didn’t have a chance to thank Ty afterwards because he truly did a phenomenal job making sure I was as comfortable as possible and properly assessing my medical history, my medical history was my biggest concern with anesthesia.

I left the hospital smiling because my anxiety beforehand was the only bad part of my experience. I’m writing this a day after my procedure and still feel great with almost no pain or throat discomfort, and everything else feels surprisingly normal. I can’t say enough great things about my experience and Ty’s care. Ty is a true hero!
