Recently, T.J. came up to help de-access my patient's infusion port so she could go home. PACS Public Transportation had left and she had no way to get home. T.J. offered to pay for her a taxi with his own money. He is a perfect example of what a leader should be by going the extra mile to help another unit and taking care of a patient's special needs. He is a genuinely compassionate nurse and I would like to recognize his kindness. We appreciate you and your help, T.J., thank you for going the extra mile!
