Tobin is the "Best Charge Nurse Ever!" He definitely goes above and beyond. He is extremely well-rounded and very knowledgeable. He has an extensive nursing work history. To name a few, include flight nurse, cruise nurse, educator/instructor, management, etc... He is like a walking Google or walking Encyclopedia. I remember receiving an email from Tobin, and I said to myself, "Wow, this person has a lot of degrees/certifications," after reading the abbreviations that followed his name.

I met Tobin 1 year ago on Zoom during an interview. Super intelligent. A super humble person. Briefly, afterward, I met Tobin in person. He oriented me. He was always willing to answer my questions and explain in such a way I would easily understand, and I appreciate this very much. He knows how to meet each person where they are. He contributes so much to The Cardiology Department.

One time, towards the end of our lunch break, an MD Stat was called. It was an elderly lady who became unresponsive. Tobin quickly assessed the patient, delegated someone to call 911, placed the patient on a heart monitor, and started IV. He didn’t miss a beat. His every move came naturally and with grace. He communicated everything he was doing with the patient and the patient’s husband. His presence maintained a calm demeanor with a welcoming approach. This guy is excellent. With Tobin's immediate and efficient response, the patient became more responsive, and EMS took the patient to the Emergency Room. He saved this lady’s life, and the relief on the patient’s husband’s face was priceless. Tobin is a gem. He has an impeccable personality. His character displays integrity.
