Todd T McAlvey, RN

Nurse Todd was absolutely amazing. He was our night nurse for many nights while our son was on a ventilator. The attentiveness he gave to my son was extraordinary. He was so informative and helpful to me when I had no idea what was going to transpire with my son. He treated my son with such dignity; although he was heavily sedated, he could hear. Todd would talk to him and anytime he gave him a bath or just listened to his heart and lungs, he would let my son know what he was doing. While my husband and I were living one of our worst nightmares as a parent, Todd emotionally helped us through those days. Knowing he was our nurse for a stretch of time gave me such security. I wish he could have stayed the whole time. He answered any questions we had, even when I asked him the same one more than once. I wish I could give him the world as he treated our son back to health. Todd is an example of an Extraordinary Nurse and man.
