Todd Wagner started out in our Telemetry unit and transferred to the ER about 2 years ago. Todd calls the ER his "home. Todd goes above and beyond with every patient encounter as evidenced by the countless letters we receive from those he has taken care of. He leaves such a lasting impression that patients and families ask for him by name when they come to the ER. I have often seen Todd up on our nursing units visiting and checking on patients he took care of in the ER. Todd will tell you he got into nursing because of job security; but to know Todd you know that nursing was his calling. He truly cares about his patients and their families.
Everybody seems to know Todd. He has a great rapport with all staff in our hospital and is always willing to help wherever and whenever needed. Todd will tell you nursing is not just a job for him; you see that with every smile he brings to the patients and families he takes care of. He is humble and genuine. Todd makes a difference here every day.
