Tollak Log received 9 nominations from colleagues in the Rehab Department at St. Joseph Hospital. The following are excerpts from these letters that capture why he is so deserving of this recognition:
• Tollak always gives holistic care to both the patient and family. In fact, each patient is treated as family and they comment on this.
• When I ask patients who I should “give a pat on the back to” they consistently call out Tollak and offer a variety of supporting examples – skill as a nurse, humanity and care, teamwork and dedication.
• Tollak is really more of a rose, but a DAISY will do as he is also very humble.
• Tollak is the single most loved and respected nurse on our unit.
