S had to drink the yucky drink. Tom mixed her drink each time a bit different to find the right mix for her. He let Ashley, the night nurse, know so S would be less sad while trying to get that drink down. S felt so comfortable with him she talked about her violent dad to him. She never opens up to men. He made an impression. S keeps those feelings to herself. Tom listened and let her talk. He let us know a counselor would be talking to her in the morning. S reads books a lot so he talked to her about her books. He kept her laughing.
