Tom Keefe was caring for a patient that was extremely agitated and belligerent following surgery. In spite of the patient's behavior, Tom maintained a calm and cool demeanor and continued to deliver excellent care. Within a short period of time, Tom was able to redirect the patient's energies. Tom was later seen assisting the patient out of bed to the bathroom. As they walked to the bathroom, the patient had her arms around Tom's waist, speaking to him in an easy going manner. As always, Tom provided the appropriate nursing interventions to help the patient's anxiety. Tom always goes above and beyond for his patients.
