Tom M McCullough, RN

Tom is said to be an amazing Nurse by his patients, their families.  his peers and his leaders. Tom was nominated by his peers because he rose to the occasion to come in on his day off to care for patient who had special needs. The patient had religious and cultural beliefs that needed to be met so he could have a procedure he needed to get done.  Tom is a CV PACU Nurse who actually cared for this patient from the beginning till the end of his procedure. He prepped the  patient for the procedure  and recovered him after the procedure . He even transferred the patient to CCU and cared for him while they found a proper replacement to meet the patient’s needs. His Leadership said this is how Tom is exceptional in all he does . The same month he had a nomination too by a family member of a patient . She stated Tom took amazing care of her father. Tom was incredibly attentive especially with immediate care noticing some slight paralysis following the procedure and immediately calling the surgical team to get him the care he needed.
