Tom Sweeney is such a dedicated NP and treats his patients with kindness and understanding. A recent patient who has an insulin pump came for surgery at Surgical Hospital. He follows her in clinic and she has been a long time patient. He arrived at 0630 (before surgery), programmed her settings and then came back that evening to set her pump up for the night. He was on top of her needs and care without being summoned by my team. The patient could only say great things about Tom and the care he gives her.
He encourages his patients to call him and often provides his cell phone. Tom is the epitome of competence, professionalism, and caring and lives the mission of Loma Linda with all of his patients.
