My father came into the emergency department via ambulance for extreme health issues due to prolonged and severe alcohol abuse. He was eventually put into an ED room and Tomi was his overseeing nurse. She was so patient with my father and she didn't judge him or his family. She answered all of our questions and eased a lot of our concerns. At times, she just held his hand to comfort him through withdrawal. She was quick to administer meds and IVs and took his condition very seriously.
Anybody would be lucky to have Tomi be their nurse or their loved one's nurse. She was never rushed. She never seemed stressed or panicked and she was extremely knowledgeable.
On behalf of our family, we thank Tomi for being a caring and wonderful nurse.
