August 2025 Honoree
Tommy S Lichtner, RN
My husband was only 58, he had been given a terminal diagnosis of esophageal cancer. We met this nurse a few days after the initial home visit. He laughed with us, he observed things, and he made us feel at home and it seemed like he felt at home.
Our family is tough on people, but he never let that deter him from providing the care we needed. He was professional, but he also laughed with us and accepted us as we are. He was always on time, came when he said he would, and was available. He is a nurse that most would want to be!

Thank you, Tommy S, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
