Tommy Thornsburg, RN

Tommy cared for me at night, which were some of my darkest moments of my 23 days here. He was very personable to me and cared for me as a person, like he knew me for years. He was always prompt and helpful and never allowed me to fall behind on my pain medication. When the medicine didn't help my pain, he went above and beyond to find something that would, like a heating pad for my back. More than being an excellent caregiver, he gave me encouragement to keep going, to not give up. Tommy always made it a point to remind me of all my progress. He gave me a nickname that I am now known by on the unit; Valve King! I am walking out of here with all my valves and he is a big part of why I never gave up! Thank you so much.
