Toni Dartez, RN

When we first met Toni, she was very welcoming and efficient. We had a ton of questions. She explained it’s necessary to thoroughly assess the patient to understand the patient's case and develop a treatment plan. Immediately she determined that another blood sample wasn’t necessary as her record indicated it was now normal. Toni is deserving of a nomination as she embodies the essential healthcare worker, who’s highly efficient, knowledgeable, and compassionate, all with a cheery disposition. Her patient, my mom of 88 years, is highly impressed with her performance in maintaining stability and attending to her medical needs. We wish Toni the best in all her future endeavors. She is a blessing to my mom, and all blessings be hers as it is well-deserved.

Toni has been with Lourdes for more than twenty years. She works as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor on the Progressive Care Unit. Toni exhibits everything you envision when thinking about what a nurse should be. She has a commendable work ethic. Toni shows compassion to all her patients and their family members. Her day-to-day interactions with some of the “more challenging” patients never seem to deter her from the mission of providing quality care.
