I was going through the hardest time of my life. My dad died, my brother committed suicide, and my spouse had asked for a divorce. I wanted to give up. I tried to give up. Toni encouraged me to get help. She was my night nurse for several evenings. She would come into my room and talk with me. She cried with me, held me while I cried, and helped me find a way to see through the other side. She is an amazing, compassionate nurse. She gave so much more than I could ever say. She was the person there for me. She checked on me very frequently and reminded me that I could get through this. Toni saved my life. She cared for me while I couldn't care for myself. She reminded me that people cared that I was still here. That my kids needed me to be here. I will always remember the great care that I received from her. I will forever be grateful for the nurse who held me through my dark time.
