ToniAnn was open with me in addressing an issue I was facing at another VA Facility. From the start, I knew I was talking to someone who cared and was committed to resolving the problem. I was referred to OHSU for treatment, which required chest X-rays before it could begin. My request was not accepted because it was not submitted by a VA Doctor. ToniAnn quickly stepped in, spoke with my ENT doctor, and ensured the X-ray request was submitted directly to the VA Facility. Thanks to her efforts, I was able to schedule the required X-rays and proceed with my treatment. ToniAnn handled the situation with professionalism and showed me great respect, especially when I felt I wasn’t receiving that from the other facility. She developed multiple options and even created fallback plans to ensure my issue was resolved, and I could move forward with the procedure I needed. The dedication and persistence were instrumental in resolving an issue that had triggered significant stress and anxiety. She helped pull me out of a mental state that was not a good place for me, and for that, I am truly grateful.
