Tonja listened to me and made eye contact, She helped me redress due to shoulder pain. Tonja showed concern about my apprehension. She genuinely cares about the patient by her encouragement of upcoming procedures. She stated, "she loves her job" and verbalized understanding of the difficulties of vets who live alone. Tonja gave me encouragement and thanked me for my service. She is very well-mannered and asks permission to provide care. This nurse, Tonja, demonstrates understanding and gives delivery of quality, total patient care in every way. As a former military nurse leader, I would have been honored to work with her and grateful! Tonja is a true DAISY Nurse!
