There isn’t one specific story or situation that demonstrates the meaningful difference Tony made in my care. However, during my time at RIO, Tony made me feel like a person more than just a patient. After a month in the hospital before coming here, I have come to appreciate healthcare providers who truly care for their patients, and their outcomes and love what they do. Tony has sincerely cared for me during my time here and has always been there when I needed him, and never made me feel like a burden. He recognized feeding deficits that no one else did and when no one was there to help me eat he made sure I was fed. Tony has touched my life during such a scary and vulnerable time and there just aren’t enough words to express my heartfelt thanks!
