I was an admitted patient recently at TMMC. I had a nurse named Tony from the PCU dayshift. Let me say that Tony is an amazing person and such an intelligent nurse. He is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. He has such great energy and when he took over my care, I knew I was in great hands.
I was diagnosed with pericarditis and I was very scared since I was alone without my family since the new policy not allowing visitors and I am only 18. Especially now during this pandemic Tony really assured me I was in a good place. I was scared during my stay at TMMC but Tony really helped in every way possible to make my stay as comfortable as it possibly could. Tony has great time management skills, every time Tony was in my room he would let me know the plan of care which is greatly appreciated knowing what is going on. With my new diagnosis, Tony really EDUCATED me and I really needed it. I have been a patient for TMMC since I was a child and I always come back because of the great care I receive from the nurses and Tony was just an outstanding nurse. Tony was a great advocate and he really represents what a TMMC NURSE should be!
