Tonya always brings a positive attitude and smile to work. She is professional and also very personable. She makes it apparent that she loves being a nurse and as a patient she makes you feel like she is a friend while also making you feel very safe and well taken care of. I know this because I have been her patient as well as a co-worker. As a co-worker, she is always willing to go above and beyond to help her fellow nurse out. She is a great role model for me as a young nurse and a true DAISY Nurse.

Tonya Lee is very compassionate and caring with her patients and coworkers. She always has a smile on her face and can easily put a smile on your face. She provides exemplary care to her patients and their families. She's very encouraging to her patients during tough times and through the special moments of delivering a baby. She is always there to lift a helping hand whenever the need arises. She willingly steps up to the plate to go above and beyond for her coworkers and patients. She never makes you feel like a burden if you need help. If you aren't sure how to do something, she will be there to help you through it. I've seen her care for a new mom and baby then care for a dying patient all in one day. It's a hard thing to do but she does it with ease and compassion for all. Patients know that when she is their nurse, they will receive the highest level of nursing care and know that she will go to any level to provide for their comfort and concerns they may have. She pays great attention to detail which gives her coworkers and providers confidence that her patients will be taken care of. Tonya is a true example of a great nurse and coworker.
