Going through detox has been one of the hardest things I've ever done, especially during COVID when I couldn't have my family by my side. But let me tell you... Tonya was amazing. She sat with me and held me while I cried, reminded me of my worth, and told me that I am so strong. She made sure I was comfortable and had the medication that I needed. I never got the feeling that she was being rushed to get out of my room or that she was sick of watching me cry or have panic attacks. She is pure. She is patient. She is loving. She deserves this award.
