Tonya Huhman, RN

Tonya Is an Extraordinary Nurse because she is always willing to go above and beyond for her patients to make the birthing experience as great as possible for them. She is also a great team player and is always willing to stay late and pick up extra shifts when needed. In several instances, she has stayed several hours past her scheduled shift to help out night shift on very busy nights. Even if she is told she can leave if she needs to she always stays to make sure all the patients are well taken care of and all required tasks and jobs are done before she goes home. Even if she has to be back to work the next morning. She also is always thinking ahead and is always trying to get as many tasks done as possible to make the next person's shift easier. Tonya is very deserving of this award because of her dedication to providing quality care to her patients and her willingness to do what is best for the unit at any time.
