My labor experience was far from what I envisioned for myself. I didn't progress quickly or naturally. I was in excruciating pain. My epidural didn't distribute evenly, so my pain was localized to one side. If Tonya had not been the amazing nurse she is, I would not have survived that. She held me during the epidural, held my hands during contractions, put my hair up, prioritized me, and made sure I felt safe and never alone the entire time. I am grateful for the care I received from her and will be having my next baby here 100% because of her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It meant the world to me.
