I was a patient here with pneumonia due to r/o coronavirus. This meant that Tonya had to put on PPE every time she came to help me. No matter what I forgot to ask for over the phone she would go back out of the room take off all the PPE and come right back in with new PPE. She was always so calming which in turn calmed me. She never complained, she always asked if I needed anything else and she meant it. She treated me like a person, not just another complaining patient.
Tonya had patience, empathy, caring, and genuinely sweet soul. Never once did I feel uncomfortable to ask questions. She was resourceful, kind, and again just a caring person. Thank you for making my stay here at Advent less stressful and more relaxing experience. You are an asset to this hospital and its patients. You truly have a healer's touch. Thank you again for your wonderful care and for being so very kind even when times were tough.
