Tonya was amazing last night, well beyond the standard. My husband was having an OCD breakdown because he couldn't get the bed set up. He paced throughout the room ramping up. when he does this he doesn't hear me. I repeatedly ask him to call someone. I wasn't thinking through the haze myself and I couldn't speak well due to thyroid surgery. I finally yelled as best I could for him to sit down and listen. Tonya must have heard me, she came in shortly after that. She was so calm and caring toward him. She got the bed set up for him and later brought him some cookies and sherbet. She instinctually knew what he needed. And even though he was not the patient, she took care of him. I can't thank her enough for being where I couldn't, doing what he needed and caring so much and so calmly.
