Her professional demeanor and excellence in service make Tony a standout in her field.
My mother had a slip/fall on ice, resulting in a broken kneecap. From the moment we arrived in inpatient pre-op, Tony went above and beyond to provide comfort and care as she readied my mother for surgery. She is highly empathetic, sensing what mom’s needs were even before she could vocalize them. Not only did she care for the patient, but she also cared for me as the family member, communicating and anticipating questions in advance by supplying helpful information about expectations for surgery and recovery wait times.
She also was an excellent example of “managing up” her coworkers – building our confidence in the surgeon, PA, anesthesiologist, and other clinical staff as these individuals entered and left the room. This helped to build a positive experience amidst a traumatic injury and unexpected surgery. Her professional demeanor and excellence in service make Tony a standout in her field. Thank you, Tony, for being the bright spot in our day!
