She is so impressive and respectable. Toral has our backs, will always come to help ASAP, and graciously listens to our frustrations.
Weekend in and weekend out, Toral is the metaphorical captain of our MSICU ship! She works tirelessly all weekend to make sure all of our caregivers are supported and felt heard, no matter the circumstance. On weekends, our resources are more limited than on weekdays, but thanks to Toral and her hard work, we rarely feel the difficulty of fewer resources. She is somehow able to make up for having less people around even though she is only one person.  She is so impressive and respectable. Toral has our backs, will always come to help ASAP, and graciously listens to our frustrations. She also somehow, with all of this, has time to take an interest in all of us personally and remembers small details of our real lives. When she answers the phone, we immediately just feel better. We’re all so thankful to have her with us every weekend.

Two days after my wife and I delivered our first child, I had a stroke out of nowhere. We were hours away from being discharged, so thankfully we were still in the hospital. Once I started getting moved from postpartum to the Neuro floor, Toral took immediate charge of me and my wife. She made sure to get every piece of accurate information possible to assess what happened and why, and as I was moving between neuro doctors, CT scans, and surgery prep, she was there every moment, making sure my wife and I knew what was happening. Once I came out of surgery to remove the blood clot, she visited multiple times to make sure I was recovering fine. She was the first person I wanted to give a hug to when I got discharged two days later because I knew she was by my side for every step of this frightening (yet very providential and blessed) incident.

Note: This is Toral's 2nd DAISY Award!
