My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer had developed blood clots and an infection and we were yet again admitted. Coming off the hardest night of my life, I was terrified that I could lose my husband and the father of my children.
When Tori came in to introduce herself for change she altered the mood in this room. I cannot name just one situation or story because it was simply her presence. Her care, her attention, patience, she is a true DAISY Nurse.
This floor is difficult to be on and a nurse like Tori deserved to be acknowledged. She has consistently been a light in the darkest time of our lives. She is what every nurse should aspire to be. A light!!
