Tori was my mentally challenged brother's first nurse in PCU. After his surgery, the family was so nervous about leaving him that first night, but it didn't take long for us to realize he was in good hands. The next morning, she worked her magic to make it possible for one of us to spend the night with him each night. She was always so upbeat and friendly when she came into the room.
My brother developed the biggest crush on her. When it was time for Tori to have a few days off, she brought him a "Serenity Angel". She sat down and read the card that came with it and explained that she would be off work for a few days. Even on her days off, she would text me to check on him and to remind him that she would drop by when she came back to work if he wasn't still her patient in PCU. The world needs more kindhearted people like Tori and Colquitt Regional is so lucky and blessed to have her on staff.
