Recently, there were employees who came to work in a manner that was questionable for patient and personnel safety. During their consistent rounding, they used their critical assessment skills to determine the cause of the concerns. With respect and kindness in their communication with these individuals to encourage them to disclose the cause of their fit for duty/safety issues. Tori offered support and followed policy and procedure to the best of her ability during the off-hours incidents. I commend the professionalism and passion to help the employees in their time of need. Tori constantly manages challenges in an efficient and comprehensive way. 

Every shift this employee works, there seems to be a “full moon.”  Nevertheless, Tori maintains calmness, handles what is within their scope of practice, and escalates with appropriate communication when needed.

Tori has represented leadership in a way that makes us proud.  Tori advocates for staff and patients when necessary, maintains confidentiality as necessary, and demonstrates kindness that would make the Barnes family extremely happy.
