I would like to recognize Tori Moore for the outstanding care she gave in an elderly dementia patient who was experiencing a stroke. The patient came in with symptoms of a stroke. Tori got the patient to CT and gave the patient TPA in 16 minutes. While giving the TPA, the patient started to sundown and starting to pick and mess with her dressings. Tori, knowing the patient's love for Frank Sinatra, played his songs and sang them to her to distract her for 2 hours while she got her TPA. Tori gave her patient personalized care and kept her safe while she went through a major health crisis.
