I have had the pleasure of getting to know Tracelyn over the last 2 years and have been left in awe. Tracelyn is not only a special person, but a special nurse. Tracelyn is always looking for ways to make the patient’s experience, as bad as it may be, a better one while they are here. She is always having conversations with the patients and their family/visitors and making them feel as though they are at home. She looks for ways to make them laugh and hold conversations to get their mind off what may be ailing them. She is an inspiration to see when she is with her patients, their family/visitors and her peers. Her outlook on life and how she educates her patients and her peers on how to see the positive in things is truly inspirational. She has a level of integrity, stewardship and teamwork that she embodies to all who come in contact with her leaves everyone with a sense of satisfaction and calmness. Her words of wisdom and caring ways that she is always willing to share with her patients, families/visitors and peers, earns her the respect and gratitude she deserves. Tracelyn has a way of making sure that those that she meets, speaks with, or cares for are treated with the utmost respect, compassion and dignity. She is truly an extraordinary nurse who provides extraordinary care and compassion to those she serves. I am proud to say that I know Tracelyn and have had the pleasure of working with her. She is an inspiration.
