Tracy was so friendly and informative. This is one of our survivor appointments, and my daughter is a new teen. Not only did Tracy speak to me as a mom, but she also treated my daughter with respect and spoke directly to her to explain her appointments today. We are very open with our daughter as she was diagnosed at 5, and we feel honesty is important, but it was refreshing to have a nurse treat her like an intelligent individual and not just a kid as a patient. She also made us laugh, and feel comfortable when we had to wait a bit; she kept checking in and informing us of how things were progressing, suggesting that instead of waiting for a long period of time, we grab a cup of coffee, let our daughter eat and come back within a half hour. It was a great idea and a good mindset for my daughter, who has anxiety at times. It is obvious that Tracy is a dedicated nurse who cares about her patients and their families. She is passionate about each individual child and family that she comes across. We were able to see her interact with other families during our wait, and she greeted them with the same smile and easy-going attention! You have a wonderful nurse, and she should be recognized!
